Snohomish Dojo is a non-profit organization that specializes in teaching the Olympic sport and martial art of judo.  Judo means "the gentle way."  Judo is about learning to use maximum efficiency of mind and spirit and helps students learn the lesson of mutual benefit.  Those are the guiding principles help us develop champions in life, on and off the mat.

Judo in Motion:

Pictured above is Tomoko Cummings throwing Jennifer Soler.  Judo often means using your opponents strength against them. Judo is meant to be fun and teaches one good sportsmanship, humility, and drives you to work harder, and not just on the mat. Through learning about one's own balance and strengths on the mat, judo can help to transform a person's belief's about one's self and others.
